Candle Care

Please read the following guidelines to ensure your candle remains in the best condition possible.
Candles have an open flame. When lighting a candle, you must take full responsibility for the flame and effects of an open
flame. Extinguish the flame if you believe it to be unsafe, or abnormal. For the safe enjoyment of candles, it is imperative
to understand the caution required and be aware of the associated risks, so please ensure you always follow safety
precautions.
• Candles must always be monitored/attended by an alert competent responsible person
• Keep candles out of reach of children & pets and never use a candle as a night light
• Never touch or move a burning candle or container candle when the wax is liquid
• Keep the wax pool free of wick trimming, matches & debris at all times
• Never allow the candle flame to come into contact with the glass
• Do not use/light the candle if the jar is cracked, chipped or broken
• Stop burning the candle when there is 15mm of wax remaining in the bottom
• Do not extinguish a candle flame with water as water can cause hot wax to splatter; use a snuffer to extinguish
• Extinguish a candle if it repeatedly smokes, flickers, or the flame becomes too high
• Trim candle wick to 1/4 inch each time before burning
• Always use a candle-holder specifically designed for candle use, do not light the candle near any flammable surfaces,
place candle on a stable, heat resistant surface, away from direct sunlight. Place burning candles at least three inches
apart from one another & never use a knife or sharp object to remove wax dripping from the glass holder
• To get the most out of your candle it is recommended to burn it until you at least have a full melt pool and then for 1-2
extra hours
• Be very careful if using candles during a power outage

Diffuser Care

Reed diffusers are the perfect way to freshen up a living area. The natural reeds continuously release a clean, pure
fragrance throughout your living space.
Our diffusers are all hand-poured, and will last about 6 months, depending on the air conditions which it is placed.
There are several factors that will affect how long our reed diffusers will last and the amount of fragrance it releases.
These include:
• Number, size & type of reeds used
• The airflow around your diffuser (if close to a fan, air conditioning or an open window the reeds will soak up the
oil faster)
Please read the following guidelines to ensure your diffuser remains in the best condition possible.
Place the reed sticks in the oil and allow them to sit for one hour. By the end of the hour, you should start to notice the
sticks slowly absorbing the oil. Flip the reeds over to saturate the top part of the reeds that stick out above oil level. This
helps to speed up the process of the oil soaking up from the bottom diffusing through the entire reed to give an extra
boost of smell to fragrance the area.
Simply turn the reeds over once a week to recharge and release a new wave of scent (diffuser flowers do not require
turning).
Warning
• Ensure your reed diffuser is placed out of reach of children and pets in an area where it will not be easily knocked
over. If spilt, clean immediately as the mixture may damage surfaces
• Do not light the diffuser reeds or oil
• Keep it well away from electrical appliance/s and other
sources of heat
